Chen-style Taiji Quan hand-push was called fending hand and beating hand. It was compiled by Chen Wangyan in Chenjiagou of Wen county in Henan.Here, on the basis of folk techniques of martial arts in Ming Dynasty, together with intrinsic characteristics of Tai-Chi, it develops into a sports comprehensively. It inherits three methods of seizing, falling and throwing beating, themed on twisting and helical motion. Its high command is harmony between hard and soft.
